Having previously owned collies, we bought our first irish setter in 1997. We were attracted to this wonderful breed mainly because of their affectionate temperament and glamorous looks. We also wanted a dog which would enjoy regular long walks in the countryside. Before long we were bitten by the 'showing bug' and started looking for a show quality bitch. We particularly admired a Shandwick dog being shown locally and when Pat Butler-Holley had a litter of puppies we were lucky enough to acquire Jade. We are very grateful to Pat who has been a great source of support and advice ever since.
Our dogs are always pets first and live in the house as part of the family. They are permanently identified by microchip and are DNA profiled.
Tifosi is an Italian word to describe a group of fans.
It is mainly associated with the supporters of the Ferrari F1 racing team. As we are fans of motor sport we felt this choice of name to be most appropriate, also of course, Ferrari cars are generally red!
